Heavy back-screw profiles (BS) 7 models
Heavy-section profiles that fix with screws from the back of the shutter, so no screw shows on the front. Sold by length, 6″ to 36″.
Groove-fit profiles (Grove) 2 models
These slide into a groove cut along the shutter edge, for a flush, clean line. Sold by length, 6″ to 36″.

Each model has its own set of finishes; open a model to see them.
Anodised: An anodised finish is formed in the surface of the aluminium itself. It does not rust, and nothing happens to it for the life of the handle.
PVD: A PVD finish gives a richer gold, rose gold or black look, but on aluminium it can start to peel after some time. Choose it with care. If you do choose PVD, do not clean it every day with a wet cloth or a mop; wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
Before you buy, check these.
- Pay by weight, not by length
Two profiles of the same length can differ a lot in how much aluminium they carry. Weigh a piece before you agree a price.
- Feel the edges
Run a finger along the profile. A well-finished profile has smooth edges with no sharp burrs, which matters on a shutter you touch every day.
- Measure the full length
Some handles sold in the market are shorter than the size on the box suggests. Measure the handle end to end and compare it with the size you are paying for.

What is a profile handle?
An aluminium handle that fixes on the edge of a kitchen or wardrobe shutter instead of on its face. You open the shutter by the lip of the profile, so the front stays clean. It is also called an edge handle or edge profile handle.
What does BS mean on a profile handle?
BS means back screw: the profile is fixed with screws from the back of the shutter, so no screw shows on the front. Our BS profiles are heavy-section.
What does Grove mean?
A Grove profile slides into a groove cut along the shutter edge, so it sits flush with the shutter.
What is the difference between an edge, G and J profile?
They are named after their shape. An edge profile fixes on the shutter edge. A G profile and a J profile are shaped like those letters and usually run along the top of a shutter as a finger pull. We make edge profiles today and are adding G and J profiles soon; ask us on WhatsApp.
Which length should I buy?
A profile runs along one edge of the shutter, so choose the length closest to that edge: the width of the shutter for a top or bottom edge, its height for a side edge. We make 6″ to 36″ in 2″ steps, and 2400 mm for full-height doors.
